As far as I know, motion sickness is caused by a conflict between the visual perception and balance system. Therefore, the conflict must be resolved by either reconciling the two inputs (looking outside the window) or by nullifying one (closing eyes).
One can deduce that, if closing eyes resolves such a conflict, blind people must be immune to motion sickness.
Does anyone have any idea? Can anyone confirm?
